Masters athletes have unique considerations and challenges to face as they strive to stay at the top of their game. Recovery and avoiding over-training become even more important the older an athlete gets, as well as increased risk of injury, and slower body adaptation. It is important to respect a masters athlete's different training needs. Besides having great life experience and general bad assery, the masters athlete needs have the mental and physical confidence to understand that while age is just a number, their board numbers may not match those of the young bucks.
So with this in mind, here are our level 2 standards!
