ULO - Final Reminders

As you get ready for tomorrow, here are all the things you need to know and remember regarding weigh ins, warming up, your heat, the lifting standards, scoring, judges, and oh yea, did I mention there are prizes??

Weigh Ins 

20 minutes prior to your first heat, you will be called to weigh in.  You can weigh in wearing as much or as little as you want.


Warm Up

Before or after your weigh in, you can do whatever you need to warm up except add weight to the barbell.  There will not be a suggested warm up on the board, so I would suggest thinking about your warm up game plan now.


You will have 3 attempts in 20 minutes to find your max.  You must call out the attempt to your judge before you take each of your three attempts.  Make sure you know all the standards for each lift before tomorrow!


Your score will be calculated by Sinclair for your Oly lifts and Wilks formula (each lift by pounds lifted to body weight) for your power lifts.  These are the formula used in their respective sports.


Judges will be us coaches along with some awesome volunteers.  Please ask any clarifying questions before a lift and be gracious if you end up with a "no lift."  Remember, your judge wants you to succeed just as much as you do.


We will not only have pureWOD Protein setting up a table with samples and product, but we will also be giving out prizes from pureWOD, Cal Strength, and Fit Mark bags to our top 3 placers!
