Most of our athletes are CrossFitters for the dual purposes of being fit and looking super hot - two very important things whose impact on life and psyche cannot be understated. But some of our athletes are in it for another reason: to support the sport that they love. CrossFit is a means to increase strength and conditioning in order to dominate the true love of their life... be it soccer, rugby, basketball, or in this case, pole dancing.
That's right, our own Amy B is a competitive pole dancer and coach! No wonder she has a lat spread and ab strength that is the envy of the morning classes, she spends her time flagging, inverting, and spinning on the pole. Thanks to her pole-given athleticism, she's able to pick up movements quickly and integrate coaching cues on the fly. She takes the time to make sure she's really mastering the movements before piling on weight - the key to ensuring a long and healthy relationship with weightlifting. She even wrote about it recently!
