What were you thinking about the last time you worked out? Were you thinking about why you were there, or were you thinking about that work presentation you have tomorrow?
Just like any other thing you do, if your head isn't in the game, you aren't going to get the full benefits of what you are doing. You will be just going through the motions. So as you step into a WOD like a longer workout like today, ask yourself what you are trying to achieve, focus on it, and make every second count!
